Aluna Michaels, MA

My name is Aluna Michaels and I am a second generation astrologer. My mother began taking me to her astrology classes when I was 3 years old. By the time I was 18, I was practicing as a professional. I have a BA in Religious Studies from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and a Masters in Spiritual Counseling from Andover Newton Theological School in Newton, Massachusetts. Over the years, my astrological and intuitive readings have expanded into a broad-minded style of counseling to help others find the guiding force of Spirit within themselves.

For me, astrology is a way of viewing the patterns and cycles of life that I find comforting. I am able to bring that soothing information to my clients in a way that allows them to open up to the experiences life is bringing to them.

Most people come to me for relationship issues or career problems. I feel these are the very central parts of our lives that need to be addressed in order to feel balanced and secure. Yet, because I am also trained as a spiritual counselor, and astrology has much more to offer than information about daily happenings, I enjoy working with clients who want to explore the spiritual causes behind their current circumstances.

It is important that I assist my clients in searching out an understanding of Spirit, God or Guiding Force that is empowering to them. Drawing from various religious and spiritual practices, I help people find a concept that is meaningful for them.

I strongly believe spirituality must be put into practice. This is why I also work with clients in designing a personal wellness program. This may include meditation, yoga or other stress reduction techniques, as well as nutritional guidance.

I have many strengths as an astrologer and healer. I have nearly 30 years of exposure to astrology and numerous healing arts, even though I am only in my early 30's. I have always been curious and tolerant about various spiritual practices, from Fundamentalist Christianity to Paganism. Ultimately, it is my commitment to my own personal spiritual path that draws my clients to me and keeps them coming back to me through the years.
